Experience

Malcolm joined the firm as a trainee in 2003 and became an associate in 2005 following his return from postgraduate studies in London.

Malcolm’s principal areas of specialisation are mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructurings, insolvency and company recovery procedures, and insurance (regulatory and transactional). He also handles enquiries, transactions and dispute resolution issues involving clients in the gaming and betting industry. He has also given advice to foreign clients on the setting up of captive insurance companies in Malta, whereas in the field of capital markets he has advised on a number of bond issues on the Malta Stock Exchange.

Malcolm formed part of the teams involved in the acquisition of Melita Cable plc by GMT Partners and the privatisation of the postal services operator MaltaPost plc
