Experience

Tara joined the firm in 2010 as a Trainee, becoming a Junior Associate at the end of 2011 
forming part of the firm’s Corporate & Finance practice group.

Tara graduated as Doctor of Laws at the University of Malta in November 2010 after submitting her thesis entitled “The Legal Implications of Ship Recycling”.

Tara's main interests are Corporate and Insolvency Law, Trust Law and Financial Services Law. She has focused on Financial Services Law in her post-graduate studies and is currently reading for the M.A. in Financial Services at the University of Malta. In partial fulfilment of her M.A. Tara is currently working on a dissertation providing “a Critical Analysis of the Regulation (of the European Parliament and of the Council) on Short Selling and certain aspects of Credit Default Swaps.”
