The privatisation of previously Government-owned entities has been conducted at an increasingly frenzied pace in recent years. Our in-depth knowledge of the relevant industries, our experience in M&As and securities offerings, and our efficient handling of privatisation strategies, have enabled us to secure engagements by the Government’s Privatisation Unit and by foreign investors bidding for government’s stakeholding in certain entities.  We have assisted in and advised on major privatisations of, among others entities: Malta’s two leading banking groups; the national telecoms provider Maltacom p.l.c (now known as ’Go’); Malta International Airport; the Malta Freeport Corporation and Maltapost plc.
