About US
Insolvency and Corporate Recovery

Our corporate practice involves not only acting for several banks and other creditors facing the impending or actual insolvency of debtors, but also acting for companies in financial difficulties looking to put their business back on track.  This exercise can typically involve a restructuring or refinancing plan, or a group reorganisation. We have a comprehensive understanding of the differing standpoints and interests arising in these matters and are able to advise fully all parties involved, including the company itself and company directors.

We have also advised and acted for administrators and liquidators appointed for the purpose of conducting the liquidation process of a company approaching, or in a state of, insolvency. Following the collapse of a major Maltese supermarket chain, we were engaged as counsel for the liquidator in what have been noted as the most important and high-profile insolvency proceedings ever brought before the Maltese Courts, notably the “Price Club Creditors Case"
