Camilleri Preziosi’s Corporate Support Services & Compliance Unit focuses in large part on company secretarial and ancillary administrative functions. Through this Unit we can offer a service providing cost- and time-saving benefits to our clients - a service which is ancillary to the mainstream legal advice and transactional issues ordinarily handled by the firm. The Corporate Support Services & Compliance Unit guides the client not only through the process of setting up a company, but also afterwards in company secretarial and administrative matters, including liaising with the Registry of Companies and making the requisite filings and notifications.

The Corporate  Support Services & Compliance Unit has proved to be a welcome service particularly to family-owned or other owner-managed companies, which form the vast majority of the companies registered with the Registry of Companies.

Apart from assisting in dispute resolution or in the conduct of domestic and international capital market transactions, Camilleri Preziosi advises company directors and shareholders on corporate structure, succession, corporate financing and asset protection, where necessary calling upon lawyers within the firm specialised in, for instance, corporate, tax, real estate or competition law.

In addition, in its effort to provide a seamless service to corporate clients using Malta as an intermediate jurisdiction in international transactions, Camilleri Preziosi operates a licensed trust company under the name of Equinox International Limited. Equinox may act as a trustee of shares, director or company secretary and provide a registered address for Maltese companies as well as, through the Corporate Support Services & Compliance Unit, offer all required corporate support services.
