Experience

Nick graduated as Doctor of Laws at the University of Malta in November 2006 after submitting his thesis relating to the presumption of innocence and shifting the burden of proof.

In 2007 Nick was awarded an LL.M. from the London School of Economics where he studied Insolvency Law, Fundamentals of International Business Law and Corporate Governance.  He submitted a dissertation on competition law issues in the Maltese telecommunications sector.

Nick practices primarily in the areas of property law, IP law, competition law, corporate law and general commercial law.  Since joining the firm in October 2007, he has been involved in privatisations, re-domiciliation of companies to Malta, registrations of trademarks, domain name disputes, as well as international and local corporate finance transactions. Nick is also actively involved in the firm's corporate support and compliance services.
