Krista Ellul

Krista’s main area of focus is transport and logistics, namely shipping, yachting and aviation. Krista regularly advises financiers, lessors, airlines and owners on the applicable requirements and formalities relating to the registration, financing, leasing and operation of aircraft in terms of local aviation law, laws of general application and the Cape Town Convention. This includes the security available to financiers and lessors in order to ensure that their respective interests are effectively protected. Her experience in shipping and yachting includes the preparation of charter agreements, advising on ship financing, collateralisation and applicable regulatory requirements under local and international law. Krista also advises on the purchase and registration of vessels under the Malta flag.

Krista also assists the capital markets team whereby she advises issuers and managers on the applicable process and legal requirements for the admission of bonds to the official list of the Malta Stock Exchange.
